Commissioned by NHS Cornwall and Arts for Health Cornwall & Isles of Scilly, this film charts the stories of three women’s experiences in dealing with perinatal mental health difficulties.
Post Natal Illness
This was set up by a sufferer and is run by current and former sufferers of post natal illness. It has an internet forum for supporting women and offers help on dealing with anxiety, symptoms of PNI and puerperal psychosis and information for men as well.
The Association of Post Natal Illness
Provides a telephone helpline – 0207 386 0868 between 10am and 2pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as an ‘anxiety toolkit’ which gives advice on combating anxiety attacks and troubling thought patterns.

This site looks at different types of perinatal mental health problems. It is easy to read, informative and has some information on post baby diets and regaining your health after childbirth
Action Postpartum Psychosis
This is Action Postpartum Psychosis which respresents the UK Postpartum Psychosis network and provides an excellent range of information from helping to identify this severe form of post natal depression, to getting help. The stories of people who have experienced this, and their families, are very useful in terms of the information they contain as well as reassurance
